Rebrand
DLP Planning is pleased to announce that Angela Dimbleby has formally accepted the permanent role of Managing Director and alongside this the company is today revealing its new branding together with the launch of a new website (www.dlpconsultants.co.uk).
The rebrand not only sees a new logo but also new names for two well-known internal teams. Sustainable Development and Delivery (SDD) becomes DLP Transport & Infrastructure, and the Strategic Planning Research Unit (SPRU) becomes DLP Research & Analysis.

Dr Kirsten Ward BSc (Hons) MA PhD MRTPI
Kirsten joined DLP in 2019 and has been an integral part of the Research & Analysis team. She has a background in public and private sector planning and academia and has a wealth of experience in evidence-led research to inform planning applications, appeals and policy across the UK. Kirsten will join Jon Goodall in leading the Research & Analysis team.
Paul Forshaw BA (Hons) MPlan MRTPI – Planning (Liverpool)
Paul expanded our Liverpool team in 2024 having worked for previously for 17 years in consultancy and client-side roles across the north of England. Paul is key contact for our northwest clients including commercial and residential development management projects. He has extensive experience in strategic land promotion and also represents clients at NSIP Hearings.
Andrew Wright RIBA – CASS (Liverpool)
Andrew is a longstanding member of the Cass team. Following the retirement of Richard Roberts, Andrew together with David Doughty will lead the Liverpool Cass design office. Andrew’s experience spans, large scale Masterplanning of brownfield regeneration, industrial and commercial projects and Heritage and Conservation works, often leading multidisciplinary projects from inception through to construction delivery.
David Doughty BA (Hons) March RIBA – CASS (Liverpool)
David joined Cass in 2024 having successfully grown his own practice and seeking a new opportunity for professional growth. David’s experience spans a wide range of sectors, from high rise commercial, leisure and tourism, commercial retrofit / change of use and bespoke end user residential projects. David also has experience of leading and directing design teams to deliver complex projects through to construction and completion on site.
