DLP successfully promoted the site and secured a site allocation in the Local Plan Core Strategy for Hampton Brook.

University of Sheffield Energy Centre

The Energy Centre site is located on the south side of Bolsover Street adjacent to the University of Sheffield’s Chemistry Building. To the west, and raised above the application site, is the iconic Grade II* listed Arts Tower.

Pennine Five

The Pennine Five campus has been celebrated regionally within the property sector. DLP Planning, as agent for the applications and lead planning consultant, helped secure planning permission for different uses within the building, such as offices, teaching and flexible meeting spaces.

Student Roost, Hollis Croft, Sheffield

DLP Planning successfully secured planning permission for a mixed-use development incorporating student accommodation, totalling 972 bed spaces and Hub Space on a city centre site within Sheffield.The close proximity of the site to the International College and city centre University campuses was demonstrative of a sustainable location for the accommodation. The development proposals were subject to Environmental Impact Screening, but it was determined by the Local Planning Authority that this was not required. Permission to demolish the buildings on site had already been granted under the prior notification process.

Astrea Academy

DLP Planning Limited secured full planning permission and listed building consent on behalf of Sheffield City Council for a new “through school” for pupils aged 3-18 at Andover Street, Sheffield following a positive recommendation to grant planning permission made by Officers to the Planning Committee.

Minsthorpe Community College

DLP Planning Ltd were approached by Henry Boot Construction Ltd on behalf of the Department for Education regarding proposals to develop a new sports hall and gymnasium facility at Minsthorpe Community College in South Elmsall, Pontefract.

St. Georges Campus, Heartspace

In July 2015, DLP Planning submitted an application for planning permission and Listed Building Consent on behalf of the University of Sheffield for the demolition of workshops and labs, alterations, improvements and repairs to the Sir Frederick Mappin Building and the Central Wing, and the erection of a glazed atrium to provide academic and administrative space alongside the creation of a new entrance to St. George’s Campus from Portobello Street.
