South Caldecotte

Hampton Brook Ltd is a privately owned property development and investment company focusing predominantly on the east midlands and southeast. On behalf of Hampton Brook, DLP worked constructively with Milton Keynes Council from the early stages of the plan making process to support the allocation of land comprising about 57ha at South Caldecotte, comprising the only free-standing employment allocation in the development plan known as Plan:MK.

South Staffordshire Economic Development Needs Assessment

DLP’s Research & Analysis team was commissioned by South Staffordshire District Council to undertake a comprehensive Economic Development Needs Assessment (EDNA) to identify future employment needs across the district for the period 2020 to 2040. The objective was to provide a robust and up-to-date evidence base to inform the emerging Local Plan.

Suffolk Business Park

DLP Planning Limited (DLP) led the preparation of an outline planning application on behalf of Jaynic Suffolk Park Ltd for the provision of around 2 million square feet of employment space, as part of a strategic extension to Suffolk Business Park. The scheme will provide significant economic growth opportunities for Bury St Edmunds and an estimated 5,000 new jobs. The site forms part of a wider allocation in the Council’s development plan for strategic employment provision. This was linked to the construction of a new Eastern Relief Road for Bury St Edmunds (now completed) and the development of 500 new homes and a secondary school.
